Mudslide Brownies

Mudslide Brownies are made with Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua Coffee Liquor.

Equipment Needed:

Large Mixing Bowl

Hand-Mixer

9x13" Baking Pan

Oven

Microwave


Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1/2 cup brown sugar

4 eggs

2 tsp. vanilla

2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

1 cup flour

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. baking power

3 tablespoons Bailey's Irish Cream

3 Tablespoons Kahlua Coffee Liquor


Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2) Grease and flour baking pan.

3) In a large bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. (about 45 seconds)

4) Remove from the microwave. Then mix in granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

5) Beat in the cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.

6) Add Bailey's Irish Cream and Kahlua. Mix well.

7) Pour into prepared baking pan and spread evenly.

8) Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.


Marshmallow topping:

In a bowl, place 1 1/2 tablespoons butter and 2 or 3 cups of small marshmallows. Microwave for 45 seconds or until marshmallows lose their shape and stick together. Remove from microwave, mix with a buttered spoon (otherwise the marshmallow will stick to the spoon). spread over brownies. Drizzle chocolate sauce over top for garnish.
